Stage 1 of 6
Days 1–3: Windhoek to Sossusvlei – Entering the Namib Desert
Your adventure begins in Windhoek, where you collect your vehicle and head south into Namibia’s red desert landscapes. Towering dunes and endless plains mark the start of your journey. At Kulala Desert Lodge, luxury meets the desert. From here, explore the iconic dunes and the surreal white clay pans of Sossusvlei. Evenings are spent under skies full of stars, in the silence that only the Namib can offer.

Stage 2 of 6
Days 4–5: Namib Desert to Swakopmund – From Desert to Coast
Leaving the dunes behind, you drive across gravel plains toward the Atlantic Ocean. The landscape gradually changes as the air cools and the ocean mist greets you. In Swakopmund, Desert Breeze provides comfortable lodgings with panoramic views of dunes and riverbanks. Relax in town, stroll the beachfront, or enjoy light coastal adventures before returning to the road.

Stage 3 of 6
Days 6–7: Damaraland – Granite Domes and Desert Wildlife
The journey continues north into Damaraland, a land of dramatic rock formations, dry riverbeds, and desert-adapted wildlife. Spend nights camping under the stars, exploring the ancient granite domes and valleys. Days are filled with discovery: tracking desert elephants, visiting ancient rock engravings, or simply soaking in the stark, timeless beauty of the desert.

Stage 4 of 6
Days 8–10: Hoanib River & Skeleton Coast – The Pinnacle of Adventure
From Damaraland, you continue to the remote Hoanib River and Skeleton Coast. This is a true adventure — a region accessible only by a combination of self-drive and careful planning. Spend two nights at Skeleton Coast Camp, a hidden luxury retreat in the middle of the wilderness. Explore by vehicle to see desert-adapted lions, elephants, oryx, and other wildlife uniquely adapted to this harsh environment. Your final night in the region is spent under the stars, fully immersed in one of the most remote landscapes on the continent.

Stage 5 of 6
Days 11–12: Etosha National Park – Salt Pans and Safari Life
Heading east, the landscape opens to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha. Here, the shimmering salt pans and scattered waterholes attract a dazzling variety of animals. Spend nights near the park’s gates and enjoy days on safari, driving from waterhole to waterhole. Elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebra create the classic African bush experience, contrasting sharply with the stark deserts you’ve left behind.

Days 13–14: Okonjima – Conservation and Comfort
The journey concludes at Okonjima Bush Lodge, home to the AfriCat Foundation. Explore the private reserve, observe leopards and cheetahs, and enjoy luxury in the bush. This final stop provides both rest and reflection — a gentle close to a journey across deserts, mountains, and savannahs, blending adventure with the comfort of exclusive lodges.
